Solstice Canyon Loop Trail
A remarkably lush coastal riparian canyon in the heart of Malibu. A year-round stream, mature sycamores, and the stone ruins of the Roberts Ranch house — an outdoor fireplace still standing next to a small waterfall.
Trail Overview
Solstice Canyon surprises most visitors. The canyon floor is genuinely lush by Southern California standards — a year-round stream, dense sycamore canopy, and remarkable peace given how close it is to PCH. The Roberts Ranch ruins are the destination: stone walls, a chimney, and a fireplace standing next to a small waterfall. An excellent choice year-round.
